His interaction with "The Maharaja" (The Great King) in the first country he reaches, on his 1st voyage shows Sinbad as a sympathetic, forthcoming and grateful, also generous, friendly, caring and a well-disposed person, since he was helpful and willing to tell things since the beginning of their interaction; and afterwards referring to "the Maharaja" and the city as a Noble King, a Nice King and "A Noble city".
Sindbad's interaction with the Maharaja shows that Sindbad is adventurous, has a unique way of doing things, is shrewd, and knows how to use people to achieve his aims.
