I think that discrimination is always unfair but in some cases is allowed by law or certain standards in some countries and when that happens it is called fair discrimination. Employers often employ young females instead of young males because in general they think that young women are more responsible than young men.
Fair discrimination in a workplace is simply known as when a person is often faced with different forms of mistreatment in the aspect of their performance, productivity, laws etc., that has been laid down for certain jobs.
A lot of employees often choose to hire women instead of young men due to different reasons. They believed that;
- The Hiring of more women by a company's work force is based on its client base.
- It gives a better knowledge on consumer preference.
- Due to the fact that women all over the world do influence about 80% of the purchase decisions often made.
- A lot of women can multi-task and multi-focus at the same time.
