The surface area is 1,390 sq. in.

How To Solve:

We can see that there are two rectangles with the same colors, which means that there are 3 different pairs of rectangles with the same area.
This means we just need to find the area of one of each different colored rectangle, multiply the area by 2, and add it all together.

The lightest blue rectangle on top & near bottom -
Its length and width are labeled a and b, which are 25 and 15.
25 x 15 = 375
375 x 2 (because there are two of this type of rectangle) = 750

The slightly darker blue rectangle on the sides -
Its length and width are labeled b and c, which are 15 and 8.
15 x 8 = 120
120 x 2 = 240

The darkest blue rectangle in the middle and bottom -
Its length and width are harder to tell, but you can see that it shares a side with the first and second rectangles which we solved for earlier. This means the length and width are 25 and 8.
25 x 8 = 200
200 x 2 = 400

Now you add the numbers up...
750 + 240 + 400 = 1,390

That's it!
