1. Some emotions seem to be universal. This suggests that they are likely

A. learned from parents.

B. products of globalization.

C. based on biology.

D. products of socialization.

2.
Many different studies of emotion are similar to this demonstration: researchers show facial expressions by showing participants isolated faces. Is this a good measure of how people interpret facial expressions in the real world?

A. Yes, context does not contribute to interpreting emotions.

B. No, context plays a large role in interpreting emotions.

Respuesta :

The answer to the 2nd question is B because context helps us to interpret and understand emotions in different ways. For example if a picture of a face crying was shown most people would automatically think that the emotion is sad when in reality it could be happy crying. Context is everything and without it we often misinterpret things (this can be seen in day to day life even when people misinterpret texts).
