Which numbers are irrational?

The first two. In fact, you have

and [tex] \sqrt{5} [/tex] is irrational.
Similarly, [tex] \pi [/tex] is irrational, and the same goes for [tex] 4\pi [/tex].
Instead, the square root and the second power simplify in the third option:
