Please help!!! What's the difference between an Independent, Dependent, and Controlled variables? (Please make it easy to understand, I'm an idiot)

an "i"ndependent variable is one that "I" (you) change.

dependent variables are ones that change as a result of what you change. they depend on the other ones

controlled variables are what stay the same throughout. they are controlled and dont change.
