The armadillo wants to play music too so he goes to the wizard and sacrifices his shell in exchange for a guitar, made out of the shell. This folktale is very different from the folktales in my culture, such as “The Tortoise and the Hare,” where the lesson is “slow and steady wins the race.” These two folktales contrast in some ways but also both teach a lesson.
