Respuesta :

you minus the top and then you do the bottom

2. [tex]\frac{8}{10}-\frac{1}{5}[/tex]     Make the denominators the same in order to subtract them (bottom of the fraction)

[tex]\frac{8}{10}-\frac{2}{10}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{6}{10}[/tex]   Simplify

[tex]\frac{3}{5}[/tex]

3. [tex]\frac{7}{12}-\frac{1}{4}[/tex]      Make the denominators the same

[tex]\frac{7}{12}-\frac{3}{12}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{4}{12}[/tex]    Simplify

[tex]\frac{1}{3}[/tex]

4. "Difference" is subtraction, so:

[tex]\frac{7}{8}-\frac{1}{4}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{7}{8}-\frac{2}{8}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{5}{8}[/tex]

5. [tex]\frac{7}{12} -\frac{1}{3}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{7}{12}-\frac{4}{12}=\frac{3}{12}=\frac{1}{4}[/tex]

Continue doing that for the rest of the problems
