What pattern do you see when you look at latitude and temperature on a great plain cities?

lattitude is inversely proportional to temperature (sort of) such that as you increase lattitude (move away from the equator) temperature will decrease. This is why it is usually warmer in Oklahoma than it is in Minnesota.
