that is   P1V1= P2V2   where,

V1 =   0.05 L

P2 = 50.0 atm

V2 =  ? L

make V2 the subject  of the formula   by  dividing both side by P2

V2= P1V1/ P2

V2 = [( 0.05 L x 250 atm) /  50.0 atm]  =  0.25  L
