Looking at the figure, we will know that this is a right-angle triangle and we already have two angles:
60 and 90.
We know that the total sum of angles in a triangle is 180.
Hence, the third angle is 180 - ( 90 + 60 )
... 180 - 150
... 30
The angles are 30-60-90
And in this type of triangle, the height is 'x', base is '√3x' and the hypotenuse is '2x'
The height is given as 'y' then the base would become '√3y' and the hypotenuse would be '2y'
The base is given as 5
Hence, √3y = 5
And y = 5/√3
The height is therefore, 5/√3.
Now, the hypotenuse is 2y, hence, the hypotenuse would become :
... 2 ( 5/√3)
... 10/√3
