Which word best describes the mood of this stanza from Longfellow's "An April Day?" (10 points) When the warm sun, that brings Seed-time and harvest, has returned again, 'T is sweet to visit the still wood, where springs The first flower of the plain.

Respuesta :

Hope would be good word to describe the stanza. The mentioning of the sun "bringing seed time and harvest" before "it is sweet.. where springs the first flower of the plain," makes the reader think of all the good that the sun has brought before wanting to observe the beginning of a hopefully fruitful harvest the next year (this is especially significant in 1893 when the poem was written because a bad harvest meant no food and probably death).
