Graph B is the answer

First I would isolate the "y" in the inequality(you don't have to but it makes the inequality look simpler):

y - 5 > 2x - 10  Add 5 on both sides

y > 2x - 5

[This is kind of the same form as y = mx + b ("m" is the slope, "b" is the y-intercept (when x = 0)), except there is a sign(< , > , ≤, ≥) instead of an equal sign. So your slope is 2, and your y-intercept is -5.]

Only when the sign is ≤ or ≥ ("less/greater than or equal to"), the line is a solid line. When the sign is < or >, the line is a dotted line.

Based on the inequality, "y" is greater than the line (2x - 5), so the shaded area would be above the line. And because the sign does not have a line underneath, it is a dotted line.

Your answer is B
