Lenin and his supporters, known as the Bolsheviks, which included such characters as Stalin and Trotsky believed in the idea of Marxian Communism as the ideal economic system. Marxian Communism is based around the seizure of property from the privileged classes of society and the redistribution of said property amongst the general population.
