so to find the slope we do y2- y1/ x2-x1

plug in the coordinates: (-6,4) (0,3)

3-4/ 0--6

3-4/0+6

= -1/6

Then using the formula of slop intercept form: y=mx+b........ use one of the coordinates to plug in

4= -1/6x+b...... multiply -6/1 on both sides of equation ( you do this so -1/6 and -6/1 can cancel out)

-24=b........ Use b to plug in y=mx+b---------> y= -1/6x-24
