Note that 2, in particular, is an integers. All integers are rational numbers, and it is fairly easy to prove this: since dividing by 1 doesn't change the value of the number, you can write any integer [tex] n [/tex] as [tex] \frac{n}{1} [/tex], thus showing that it is a rational number, because you can write it as a division between integers ([tex] n [/tex] is an integer by hypothesis, and 1 is an integer as well)

So, in your case, simply observe that

[tex] 2 = \dfrac{2}{1} [/tex]

and you're done
