plants and animals are both made up of eukaryotic cells does this mean they have the same kind of organelles why or why not

Respuesta :

Plant cells have plastids. Plastids are organelles that carry out a bunch of different functions. These are types of organelles in plants that aren’t found in animal: chloroplasts, chromoplasts and leucoplasts.

Though the plants and animals are made up of eukaryotic cells, but they do not contain same kind of organelles.

• Both the animal and plant cells are eukaryotic, thus, they comprise membrane bound organelles like mitochondria and nucleus.

• However, the animal cells and plant cells do not look exactly similar or possess same kind of organelles, as they have distinct needs.

• The plant cells comprise chloroplasts as they require to do the process of photosynthesis, while animal cells do not, thus, they do not have chloroplasts.

• The cells of animals exhibits centrosome and lysosome, while plants cells do not.

• Apart from this, plant cells possess plastids and large central vacuole, while animal cells do not, as these organelles are not required in animals.

Thus, it is not necessary that both animal cells and plant cells comprise similar kind of organelles.
