The significant Confederate Army General, who died in an accidental way (friendly fire) in 1863 was Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. His death represented a huge loss for the Confederates and General Lee because "Stonewall" had experience and efficiency like nobody else in that Army.
General Lee considered him as his right hand and Stonewall's accidental death also caused an important moral impact in the confederates public opinion.
