Respuesta :

Answer:  Your answer would be $0.54.  They cost 54 cents each.

Step-by-step explanation:  I took $2.70 and divided by 5 fruits, and came up with the answer.  not sure if it is correct but this is one solution hope you get more then just my answer good luck to you

The apples cost $0.6  and the pear cost $0.45

let

the price of each apple = x

the price of each pears = y

Therefore,

3x + 2y = 2.70

3x = 4y

From equation(ii)

y = 3x / 4

Insert the value of y in equation(i)

Therefore,

3x + 2(3x / 4) = 2.70

3x + 6x / 4 = 2.70

3x + 3 / 2 x = 2.70

4.5x = 2.70

divide both sides by 4.50

x = 2.70 / 4.50

x = $ 0.6

y = 3 / 4 × 0.6 = 1.8 / 4 = 0.45

y = $0.45
