The correct answer is - A. The Pacific Plate is moving in a northwest direction and creating subduction zones where it converges with other plates.
The Pacific Plate is an oceanic tectonic plate. It moves into northwestern direction. Since it borders with continental plates in the direction of its movement, that have bigger density in their crust, it is subducting bellow them. On the places of subduction, lots of heath, pressure, and magma are penetrating towards the surface, and that results in abundance of volcanic activity, and the creation of the so called ''Ring of Fire''.
Ring of Fire not perimeter of the Pacific Plate because of option A.
The "Ring of Fire" is NOT the entire perimeter of the Pacific Plate because the pacific plate is moving in a North West direction and creating subduction zones where it converges with other plates. The Pacific Plate is an aquatic tectonic picture which occupies under the Pacific Ocean. Such a plate consists of an inside hot spot which forms the Hawaiian islands.
