You evaluate it using rules.
f(x)=x2+1 for 100 f(10)
so basically you take what x equals on both sides. for usually means apply. so apply what you know. rules properties or give aways.
f(x)=x2+1 for f(10)=101
If we have f(x) and f(10), then we say that x=10. Basically, whatever is in the brackets, we replace “x” with that. Since the brackets say “10,” our x would be replaced with 10.
So:
f=10*2+1=20+1=21
So:
f=10*2+1=20+1=21
