Answer: There are two main causes:
- Colonies´ growth bothered Native Americans since white people were invading their homeland. This made them very unhappy and sparked many conflicts between Native Americans and colonists.
- Colonists wanted the Native Americans to just surrender, as part of a peace agreement from 1671. Of course, Native Americans weren´t going to do such thing, which ended up in the hanging of Native Americans and murders.
The growth and development of the New England colonies was seen by the Native Americans as a threat to their land and their lives. The territorial expansion, the growth of cities and their population was a major problem to the Natives that felt threatened. This gradually led to conflict between the colonies in New England and the Native Americans.
