King William III and Queen Mary II, often refered to only as William and Mary, were the two monarchs of England that historicaly accepted the limits of their power by signing the Bill of Rights in February 1689. This document abolish the divine power of the kings and allowed the people of England to no longer suffer fines for the elections, not excessive bails and not cruel or unusual punishments. A possible speech to convince the two kings to accept the english Bill of Rights could be as follows:

Kings emerge and disappear as time goes by, the truth is that the people of England would not remember the king their grandparents had, let alone the king that their great-grandparents had. The only way that you could have a dynasty that will survive through time is to make history. Signing the Bill of Rights will not only give you historical relevance, will ascend you to the level of servants of people, servants of England and servants of God. Accepting the Bill of Rights will make your name immortal.
