Well hunter gathers, had a lot of difficulty in the beginning because of their lack of knowledge of what they were eating and that led to sickness. For their constant moving, they didn't have many kids, which means low population. In the transition from hunter gather to agriculture, they was domestication of animals and fields of crops, they also need more help in they field so they had more kids. They also stayed in one place, which helped stability and they had a surplus of food and others don't need to work for food.
