yes they will present there on earth but not sure about growing exponentially because extinction and natural hazards can reduce population drastically. As we know that many extication happened and gone but still the earth has life and humans are the most advanced animals and they have every skill to survive so i think they will survive on earth even the extinction occurs human will be preferred to be alive than any other species
