Judicial=evaluates the laws
Legislative=Writes and passes the laws
Executive=enforces laws

Our federal government has three parts. They are the Executive, Legislative,and Judicial.

Executive:

*signs laws

* vetoes laws

*pardons people

*appoints federal judges

*elected every four years

Legislative:

*makes laws

*approves presidential appointments

*two senators from each state

*the number of congressmen is based on population

Judicial:

*decides if laws are constitutional

*are appointed by the president

*there are nine justices

*can overrule rulings by other judges
