You have to substitute the x values in to the function and solve for y.
Complete the T-table with the y-values, the points and draw a straight line through them.

The function is

[tex]y = - 3( - 1) + 5[/tex]
[tex] \rightarrow \: y = 3 + 5 = 8[/tex]
Write 8 in the table under y next to -1
When
[tex]x = 0[/tex]
[tex]y = - 3(0) + 5[/tex]
[tex]y = 0 + 5 = 5[/tex]
Fill in the T-table with 5 next to 0.
When
[tex]x = 1[/tex]
[tex]y = - 3(1) + 5[/tex]
[tex]y = - 3 + 5 = 2[/tex]
Fill in 2 next to 1
Now plot the points
(-1,8) , (0,5) and (1,2)
and draw a straight line through them
