The fromula of a midpoint between (a, b) and (c, d):

We have (5, 8) and (-3, 10).
Substitute:
[tex]\dfrac{5+(-3)}{2}=\dfrac{2}{2}=1\\\\\dfrac{8+10}{2}=\dfrac{18}{2}=9[/tex]
