6-12 divides by 3 + 8 - 9 is 1

PEMDAS you do not have any parentheses or exponents you divide 12 and 3 which is 4 then it does not matter if you add or subtract first so 6-4 is 2 and 2+8 is 10 and 10-9 is 1
