so
(x/2)-200=x/3
subtract x/2 from both sides
-200=(x/3)-(x/2)
make denomenators same
x/3 times 2/2=2x/6
x/2 tiimes 3/3=3x/6
now we have
-200=2x/6-3x/6
-200=-x/6
multiply both sides by 6
-1200=-x
multiply -1
1200=x

capacity is 1200 ml
