Surface Area = Lateral area + Area of two ends...apply dis formula
First, find the area of the two triangular ends. The area of a triangle = 1/2 b×h
So, 4×3÷2= 6. Multiply that by two for the two triangles and you have 12.
Then find the area of the large rectangle by multiplying 7 by 5. This makes 35. Add 35 to 12 for a running total surface area and you have 47.
Then do the smallest rectangle by multiplying 3 by 7. This makes 21. Add 21 to 47 and that's 68.
Now for the last rectangle, multiply 4 by 7 to get 28. Then add 28 to 68, this makes 96. 96 yds squared is your answer.
