Ms. Bond gave her class 8 minutes to read 3 1/2 pages. How many pages will the class read in an hour? My mistake, I was supposed to put it for math.

8/3.5= 60/x

8x=60*3.5

8x= 210

X=26.25

If I've got this right...it would be 60 minutes divided by 8 = 7.5 minutes because 8 will not evenly go into 60. You would then multiply 7.5 minutes by the 3.5 pages, so the class would read around 26.25 pages in a hour. Hope this helps!
