p = 6.25 - d

6d + 5p = 33.75
6d + 5(6.25 - d) = 33.75
6d + 31.25 - 5d = 33.75
d = 2.50

2p + 2d = 12.50
2p + 2(2.50) = 12.50
2p + 5 = 12.50
2p = 7.50
p = 3.75

One popcorn is $3.75 and one drink is $2.50
