I think, as in historical times, if you were ‘divorced’ then it was shamed, and it was frowned on. So then they (you would think) would wait until they knew it was all perfect. Yet now, if you get divorced it’s of the norm. So people think of it differently now.

Divorce has been described as the termination of the marriage. The cases of divorce have been increased in the last  fifty years with a high proportion.

Why divorces increases?

In the past, divorce has been considered as uncommon and has been opted when one of the partner has commenced a severe sin.

With the increase in the adultery and government support for No-fault divorce in 1950, people start to came forward and started option for divorce.

The factors that have been influencing divorce are:

  • Adultery
  • Government policies
  • Trouble within partners
  • Lack of communication
  • Indefiliy
  • Basic incompatibility

The mentality of people has been changed and there has been a changing in the mentality of people as they started confiding divorce as freedom.
