8 - 7 + 6 = 99 - 78

1 + 6 = 99 - 78

7 = 99 - 78

7 = 21 → Answers don't match, so it's false.


True equation:

5 + 44 - 8 = (99 - 29) - 29

49 - 8 = (99 - 29) - 29

41 = 70 - 29

41 = 41 → Answer match, so its true


Equation with x:

5x - 7 = 4x - 7 + x

5x = 4x - 7 + x + 7

5x - x = 4x - 7 + 7

4x = 4x - 7+ 7

4x = 4x 0

4x - 4x = 0

0 = 0 → equation has been solved, and is considered a true equation


To know wether an equation is false or not, you have to wither solve and see the result or solve, get the results, subsitute all the vairables in the original euqation by the result, and see if the final result matches.
