∴ 17 ÷ 22 = 17/22

               = 0.77272727...

From the choices we can get the closest fraction by converting them to decimals.

The difference from the correct answer = 0.77 - 0.5 = 0.27

3/4 = 0.75

The difference from the correct answer  = 0.77 - 0.75 = 0.02

2/3 = 0.67

The difference from the correct answer is 0.77 - 0.67 = 0.1.

The closest amount is 3/4 since it has the least deviation of 0.02 from the correct amount.
