The Jesuits and Ignatius Loyola - By serving as clerics to rulers and laborers alike, and as instructors within the numerous schools they organized, the Jesuits helped spare Poland, southern Germany and Belgium for the Catholic Church. The Jesuits too helped the spread of Catholicism all through the world by their evangelist exercises in Asia, Africa and the Americas.

The Inquisition - These Church courts continued with recharged vigor to reveal and rebuff apostates. In Italy and Spain, the Investigation made a difference to halt the spread of Protestantism by banning the books of Martin Luther, John Calvin, and William Tynadale.

Forbidding books - Forbidden books (also called Librorum Prohibitorum) was established in 1559 in an endeavor to combat the spread of a few of the compositions of the Reconstruction.
