Progressivism is the help for or backing of change of society by reform. It is today to a great extent synonymous with left-of-focus political belief system. As a theory, it depends on advancement, which states that progressions in science, innovation, financial improvement and social association are indispensable to the change of the human condition. Progressivism turned out to be exceedingly critical amid the Age of Enlightenment in Europe, out of the conviction that Europe was exhibiting that social orders could advance in class from savage conditions to human advancement through fortifying the premise of experimental learning as the establishment of society.
Constructivism is a learning theory which says that learners don't behave like tape recorders, I.E., they don't store information in their memories in the same form as they heard or read it. Rather, they create understanding that makes sense to them by relating what they hear or read to what they already know, and they store in memory the understanding they created for themselves. This view of learning is most strongly grounded in progressivism.
