I believe the answer is: observational learning.
observational learning refers to the process of learning that being done by observing the actions / behaviour of other people around us. Which mean that the children who grow up in a household where the parents act responsibly would most likely observe their behaviour and mimic it in their own social environment.
Socially responsive toddlers who readily imitate their parents tend to become preschoolers with a strong internalized conscience. This best illustrates the impact of observational learning.
