In "A Cub Pilot", Mark Twain says: "Judgment is a matter of brains, and a man must start with a good stock of that article, or he will never succeed as a pilot." What does he mean?
He means that a Riverboat pilot must be able to make good decisions, and fast. Doing that could save lives, and if you do not possess the ability to have quick judgement, you can never succeed as a riverboat pilot. Hope this helps!
