They are similar because they are used in plastic cases, or gels that are shaped oblong.  They are also similar because people use them.  The difference is that drugs are usually a powder or a pill.  Also, opioids are supposed to be used to cure.  When it comes to supplements, you can find them in little boxes or containers.  The second difference is that like opioids, they are abused, this the drug problem we have today.

They are different in that drugs are often necessary to help someone overcome an illness, while supplements are optional and not necessary.

The FDA is the authority that gives a green signal for the goodness of certain drugs and how they can be used.

Now if the FDA becomes more stringent about the usage of pharmaceuticals on the basis of tests then the side effects of it would that drug loss and drug Lapse.

Making more stringent tests to pass the drugs as usable would take time which may lead to drug Lapse for passing is expiry time and drug loss due to throwing away unused drugs.
