When you have children, the best way they can learn is by tough love and mistakes. There is no need to lay a hand on a child, even if it is for something that can be forgotten in a week. There will be more serious problems, yes and you will most likely give 'em a good spank, but hey, that's the parent's job to decide whether or not they want to do it. I honestly think it's not okay, but everyone gets spanked at least once or tice in a lifetime.
