Density is defined as the ratio of mass to the volume.
The mathematical expression is given as:
[tex]d =\frac{m}{v}[/tex]
where, d = density
m = mass and v= volume
Plug in the value of density i.e. [tex]2.70 g/cm^{3}[/tex] and volume i.e. [tex]275 cm^{3}[/tex] in above formula;
[tex]2.70 g/cm^{3} =\frac{m}{275 cm^{3}}[/tex]
[tex]2.70 g/cm^{3}\times 275 cm^{3} = m[/tex]
[tex]m = 742.5 g[/tex]
Now from conversion factors, 1 kg = 1000 g
Thus, mass of aluminium in kg =[tex]\frac{742.5}{1000}[/tex]
= [tex]0.7425 kg[/tex]
Hence, mass of aluminium in kg = [tex]0.7425 kg[/tex]
