Which element of Macbeth creates tension by providing audiences with just enough information about future events to keep them interested in learning more?

That would be foreshadowing since the witches tell Macbeth he will be queen in the beginning

Dramatic irony, an element of many works and forms of media including Shakespeare's plays, serves to introduce the audience to information unknown by 1 or more of the characters. For example, in Romeo and Juliet when Romeo stumbles upon Julie's seemingly dead body in her family tomb and kills himself out of grief this is an example of dramatic irony because the audience is aware that in actuality Juliet is not dead because they were previously introduced to that information.

I hope this helps:)
