It was drafted to proclaim inherent Rights of men which included right to reform or Abolish the government which is ‘Inadequate’. The Virginia declaration was adopted by everyone in the fifth Virginia convention which took place in Williamsburg in 1776. Virginian Declaration right was incorporated with the state constitution of Virginia as Article 1. Its slightly updated version can be still noted in the present constitution of state of Virginia. In Virginian Declaration right, religious freedom that is mention is about freedom of both conscience and the principal separation of church and the State. This was written by Thomas Jefferson and passed by General assembly of Virginia in year 1786. It is at the first amendment of the constitution for the protection of religious freedom.
