Round the numbers to the nearest thousand

3,905 hits=4,000 hits

9,854 hits=10,000 hits

we know that

z=x+y ------> equation 1

x=4,000+y ------> equation 2

y=10,000 ------> equation 3

substitute equation 3 in equation 2

x=4,000+10,000=14,000 hits

z=14,000+10,000=24,000 hits
