These two deseases are transmitted by mosquitos infected by a virus from the Flavivirus genus and the viruses from the genus Plasmodium respectively.
The most common vector of yellow fever is the Aedes aegypti and the most common vector of malaria is the Anopheles stephensi.
Hope it helped,

Yellow fever is caused by the transmission of the yellow fever viral element, whereas malaria is caused by the Plasmodic genus called eukaryotic protist.
The disease is caused by the yellow fever virus and is spread by the bite of an infected female mosquito. It infects only humans, other primates, and several species of mosquitoes.
Only Anopheles mosquitoes can transmit malaria and they must have been infected through a previous blood meal taken from an infected person. When a mosquito bites an infected person, a small amount of blood is taken in which contains microscopic malaria parasites.
