why is it important to have a written Constitution?

A written Constitution is important because it is the foundation of rules to live by and follow. If there was not a Constitution, then punishment for crime and other thing would be hard to judge and rule. Also, there would be no biases.

It is important to have a written constitution so 1. There is no miscommunication and 2. So there is no changes, if someone just said the rules per say, they might change it depending on who they are talking to.
