What is a modern-day game changer like the Pantheon, according to Ferren? Why would it be considered one?

Respuesta :

Bran Ferren is a polymath. He is a technologist, architectural designer, artist, vehicle designer, lighting and sound designer, engineer, visual effects artist, lecturer, scientist, photographer, prolific inventor, and an entrepreneur. When Ferren visited Rome at the age of 9, he realized that art and technology coincide.

On that visit to Rome with his parents, he went to the Pantheon. There he noticed how cool it was despite the sweltering heat outside, and how it has a dome shape on the top with a hole (known as oculus) at the center.

The domed ceiling of the Pantheon was possible because of the following things:

1. A super strong concrete material.

2. Varying density of concrete.

3. Natural convention for the flow of air.

4. Designing using the light.

5. Knowledge of Venturi effect.

Polymaths are the people who are experts in a number of subject area. The favorite polymaths of Ferren are Michelangelo, Benjamin Franklin, and Leonardo da Vinci.

Putting the humans on the moon and moving them back to earth can be considered as the modern day game changer.

According to Ferren,  the 'internet' is not the modern day game changer. It can be used to establish many advanced technologies, but it in itself is not sufficient to be a game-changer.

The autonomous vehicles are the game changers and the next Pantheons of the modern world. The autonomous vehicles will help solve multiple problems of the mankind.
