Basically, the purpose of the state laws that require estheticians to be familiar with the diagnostic and treatment of skin conditions, sanitation and infection control procedure and skin histology and the integumentary system before being allowed to offer their services in order to protect the public. Therefore it is just right and a must for them to follow its process to be properly trained in these areas before receiving the licensure boards.
